The luxurious holiday villa EL BAMBU ROJO is part of the exclusive residential area of Monte de los Almendros, situated in one of the most spectacular areas of Salobreña. Here, guests can enjoy views of the snow-covered summits of the Sierra Nevada as well as wide panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean Costa Tropical and the ruins of Salobreña's impressive Moorish castle which dominates this pretty coastal town.
El Bambu Rojo is a design on the poem "A Thousand and One Nights"and meets all imagined desires for a holiday house. Most of the furniture comes from south-east Asia and the owner has designed the house with exceptional elegance and imagination, with no expense spared. This taste extends outdoors to an enchanting dreamlike area of gardens, terraces and swimming pool.
The oval shaped house has an adjoining tower and shelters a 100m² south facing terrace which is next to the 9 x 4m swimming pool and imaginatively designed outdoor shower. The pool and outdoor area are completely private and view-protected. The covered terrace has antiquestyle columns and comfortable garden furniture of the highest quality. It is surrounded by subtropical plants and flowers whose beauty and fragrance add the final touches to this Mediterranean paradise and, the views from all sides of the terrace are spectacular.
The villa itself has 200 m² of floor space. Next to the south facing terrace the central area is a light-flooded lounge with bright open plan kitchen joined by an archway to the separate dining-room. There is another areaused for a music and television room with over 1600 international channels and a DVD player.
There are 2 bedrooms, one of which is in the round tower and the other has its own private bathroom. Both bedrooms are stylish and comfortable, with king size beds and mosquito nets. The villa has an electric gate and a private remote controlled garage.
EL BAMBU ROJO is our most exclusive property and the perfect place for a luxurious holiday on the coast but away from the usual tourist destinations. Salobreña and the Costa Tropical, sheltered by the Sierra Nevada mountains to the north, have a particularly mild climate all year round. There are further attractions to the area, such as a visit to the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada or the ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada. Salobreña has its own golf course, next to the Playa Granada beach, called Los Moriscos. The nearest shopping facilities are in Salobreña approximately 5-10 minutes drive away. Guests can also use the communal facilities for Monte de los Almendros residents, including a large swimming pool, children's pool and tennis courts. All the facilities, in keeping with such a salubrious area, are very well maintained all year round.
