"CASA PARGO"...
..... is a good sized, detached holiday villa located in a small, leafy estate between the two coastal towns of Salobreña and Almuñecar, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Mediterranean. The grounds of the house include a private swimming pool and a beautiful tropical garden with lush green lawns, all very well maintained.
Parking spaces are available directly in front of the house. The property is accessed by a wrought iron gate which leads to a small courtyard and the entrance hall of the house. On the left there is a well-equipped kitchen and on the right a bathroom, separate WC and two double bedrooms. Leading straight on from the hallway, there is a lounge, terraced area and another bedroom. Casa Pargo sleeps up to 6 people.
The lounge has a sizeable window with sea views and is comfortably furnished with a seating area next to an open fireplace with Satellite TV. There is also a dining area with a large round table. French windows lead out to the terrace, a lovely place to sunbathe and enjoy the view. From the terrace there is a staircase leading down to the garden and swimming pool. A larger terrace surrounds the pool with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue. There is an outdoor shower with hot or cold water and a small summer house with WC and refrigerator. The lower garden has an exit where guests can take an half hour walk down a footpath to a large stretch of beach called La Guardia. Other beaches are a 10 minutes drive away near Salobreña or Almuñcear.
The Costa Tropical offers a mild climate for most of the year and is protected from the wind by the surrounding mountains, making it a suitable location for holidays at any time. It is still a predominantly agricultural region and less of a tourist area than the Costa del Sol. As well as the beaches, there are many interesting walks and excursions within easy reach. Both 3 km away, Salobreña and Almuñecar have a wide range of bars and seafood restaurants as well as shops, banks and medical supplies. Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace are an hours drive away and the Sierra Nevada ski slopes likewise. Malaga airport is 50 minutes away and Almeria airport is one and a half hours drive.
