"CORTIJO MOLINO"...

... Almost ten years were spent in the restoration of this old Olive press, which had lain unused for twenty years before the owners began to create this interesting country house.
Original elements e.g. the Millstones, large clay oil crucibles and the gable roof construction have been preserved and integrated into the renovated house. The result is holiday accommodation of a special style and historical interest, with open, bright areas enclosed by meter thick stone walls insulating against heat and cold.

The entire building is divided into two areas separated by the green inner court.
The main house with the large kitchen, dining area and living room, and entrance hall lies facing the valley outside.
The inner court of over 200 m2 and the smaller part of the house stand behind and above the main house.
The garden/inner court surrounded by a stonewall has lawns, a flower garden, fruit trees and a Swimming pool (6 x 3 M.). The noise of the Eucalyptus groves bordering on the property is usually the only sound to disturb the quiet.

Very near to the Mill begins the "Granada Walk No 7". From here it goes up into the nature park and to the White Mountain villages of the Alpujarras.
Parking is about 75 meters away from the property on the lane that comes from Orgiva. The town of Orgiva 12 minutes away by car has shops, bars and restaurants to supply all your needs.
The drive to the sea takes 40 minutes and to Granada 55 minutes.
