ABOVE THE VALLEY OF ORGIVA
"CORTIJO EL MIRADOR"...
Cortijo el Mirador is a modern, 3 bedroom holiday home situated in the midst of several acres of farmland between Granada and the Mediterranean. The land around is covered with almond and olive trees and is very quiet and secluded just to the west of gently rolling hills and Orgiva, the main town of the Alpujarras.
From the house there is a fantastic view of the wide and fertile valley of Orgiva
And the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada which, with its 3,500 summit, is the second highest range in Europe after the Alps. This panorama can be enjoyed from just outside the house where there is a delightful covered terrace with seating.
Below this is the 140 m² pool terrace and a large landscaped swimming pool, outdoor shower and sun loungers.
The property is entirely enclosed with subtropical hedges and fruit trees and there are, altogether, over 400 m² of paved terraces. There is a parking area right next to the house for easy access. There is also a covered barbecue area with sink, BBQ, bread oven and a seating area.
Cortijo el Mirador is decorated in a rustic style. The living room, open-plan kitchen and the central corridor are joined by elegant brick arches. Wooden beams and cupboards add to the pleasant effect and create a cosy atmosphere. In the lounge there is satellite TV with international programs and a glass fronted fireplace which provides central heating in winter. The bathroom is colourfully tiled and has a shower unit. Two of the bedrooms have moveable single beds and the third bedroom has a double bed.
Orgiva, a 5 minute drive, is the nearest town for shopping, banks, bars and restaurants. To Granada or to the coast is a 40 minute journey. The approach road to the house is a 2 km unpaved track but poses no problem for any type of car.

Pets are permitted with prior arrangement and a 150 EUR deposit.
Firewood is not included in the price but is available from the owners for 10 EUR a barrow
