.... is a restored farmhouse offering stunning views to the surrounding "sierras". Situated in breathtaking countryside, it is a particularly quiet and peaceful location as well as being just 5 minutes drive to Orgiva, the main town of the ALPUJARRAS.

This holiday villa is called LOS ARCOS (The Arches) because of the 3 beautiful arches that surround the covered south facing terrace. The house is detached and the plot is surrounded by a fence that guarantees complete privacy. The swimming pool is situated right in front of the terrace.

The pool area is tiled and offers space for children to play and for sunbathing. There is also an outside shower, sun lounges and garden furniture at the guests' disposal. The gardens are very well looked after and have a wide range of Mediterranean plants. Another big advantage of LOS ARCOS is the large bricked barbecue near the terrace.

The high standard of the pool, terrace and outside facilities make CORTIJO LOS ARCOS the perfect choice for holiday makers who are looking for a relaxing and peaceful retreat under the andalusian sky.

The house itself is entered by the main entrance or by the yellow arched terrace. The hallway leads on to 3 bedrooms, a tiled bathroom and comfortable lounge with open chimney and dining area. There is a well-equipped kitchen, separated by an open arch leading from the lounge. There is also a handy exit from the lounge to the terrace and swimming pool.

For shopping and eating out, Orgiva (5 min.) has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and there is a large market every Thursday. Also within easy reach are Lanjaron (10 min.) and Granada (50 minutes by car). There are also several good places for day trips, including Granada, various coastal resorts and the enchanting white-washed villages all around The Alpujarras. A visit to the most southern skiing resort in Europe, the "Sierra Nevada", is possible from November to the beginning of May.

Fire wood is not included in the price and can be bought from the owner for 10 € /wheelbarrow
