ORGIVA - LAS ALPUJARRAS
"CORTIJO LA PARRITA"...
.... is located in a quiet green valley, approx. 1km above the (also in summer) rustling river Rio Guadalfeo, which is coming down from the peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
La Parrita (in English: small vine) has that name because its façade and also a part of the terrace is covered with vines during the summer. On the ground floor and directly in front of the house is a big patio with garden furniture, a barbecue area and parking space for your car.
The swimming pool is accessible over a few steps from the terrace. The pool is surrounded by lawn. Sun beds and a sun shade are provided. The entrance to the pool can be closed by a small wooden door. Around the pool a fence made of bamboo offers privacy. All in all a wonderful place for hot summer days!
When you enter the house there is first the kitchen with modern appliances. There is a cosy lounge with table and chairs and open fire place. From there you reach the living- and dining area with Sofa corner and TV. At the rear part of the house there are three bedrooms and the bathroom.
The good, rustic interior equipment reminds still of the former use of the cortijo as a farmhouse. The house was totally renovated in 2002.
Distance to the sea is 45 minutes by car, to Granada less than one hour. Orgiva offers all kinds of shops and is in only 5 minutes by car. Malaga Airport it is a 2 hours drive.
