"CORTIJO LOS COPILLOS"...

...... is a beautiful detached country house with private swimming pool, only just completed in May 2008. 

 It lies hidden between olive, cherry and orange trees in a tranquil area on the southern slope of the Sierra Nevada in the heart of Andalusia. The nearest town for shopping and banks is Orgiva, about a 15 to 20 minute walk (less than 5 minutes by car), although there are bars and restaurants closer to hand. The coastal resort of Salobreña or the historic city of Granada are approximately 40 minutes drive away.

Cortijo los Copillos, because of its south facing location, offers unimpaired views and the property is secluded from view and ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday in the midst of nature.
The swimming pool (approx 7 x 4 m) is right beside the house and is surrounded by an ornately tiled terrace. There is an external shower by the pool and comfortable sun loungers. 

The covered terrace in front of the house is a lovely place to enjoy an overview of the fenced in property in the shade and there is garden furniture and a table as well as a brick barbecue and outdoor sink for eating al fresco.  One enters the house from the terrace into a spacious and newly furnished living room with sofa corner next to an open fireplace and a large dining table which leads onto a modern, open-plan kitchen separated by a partition wall.

The decor is stylish and designed to create a cosy effect, with some walls tiled, others in stone and some with a traditional type of brickwork which thesedays is quite rare in Andalusia due to the lenghty process involved.  In the eastern wing of the house there are two bedrooms, tastefully designed, and a tiled bathroom with modern shower. The sofa in the living room is extendable to accommodate another two people. 

There are parking places beside the house and the property itself is accessed by a 500 meter long driveway which is in good condition.
