... is a detached holiday home with private pool and 2 bedrooms is situated in an idyllic and rural location near to Orgiva in the Alpujarra Mountains of Andalusia. It is a two-story house enclosed with attractive bamboo fencing for complete privacy and with beautiful views of the surrounding environment. Here, one can leave the stresses of every day life behind and completely relax and enjoy the scenery.
The upper floor terrace provides an especially spectacular view over lemon, orange and olive groves and the stunning Contraviesa Mountains. The swimming pool is view protected and close to the house. The interior of the house is in keeping with the rustic style of the area whilst also catering for the needs of its guests. It has an attention to detail in its design, from the beautiful wooden windows throughout the house, which give a special light to the rooms, to the artistic rusticity of the wooden staircase between the floors.
The living room divides into a sofa corner with fireplace, for cosy evenings in the cooler seasons, and the dining area and open plan kitchen, all completely furnished, including a dishwasher. There is also a WC on the ground floor and a terrace with garden furniture, ideal for meals outdoors. The top floor has 2 bedrooms separated by a hallway and a bathroom and there is the upper terrace with swing chair and more garden furniture.
The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds and have a bright, welcoming feel. The bathroom has a shower and is tastefully designed again, with attention to detail. All in all, CORTIJO ALTO is very well furnished and tastefully built. There is parking space right by the house and the access road to the house is concreted nearly all the way and unproblematic even for small cars.
Orgiva is 3km away where guests can do all their shopping or try out the local bars and restaurants. The beaches of the Costa Tropical are a 30 minute drive and a trip to Granada is a 60 minute drive. It is 150km to Malaga from Orgiva and Almeria is 120km

Swimming pool is available all year round.
Minimum rental period - 7 days.
Firewood is provided for the first day and then charged at 10 € a wheelbarrow.
Pets are permitted with prior arrangement and deposit of 150 €
