CORTIJO CUATRO CAMINOSHigh on a ridge above the coast of Nerja, this fantastic holiday house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms lies in a quiet, secluded spot. There is a beautiful panoramic view of the Mediterranean and the expanse of verdant coastline below from both the terrace and the swimming pool of Cuatro Caminos.
The property is on the border of the Sierra Almijara nature reserve with its vast pine forest where walking paths and mountain-biking trails extend northwards. The nearest village, Frigiliana, is accessible by car.
Cortijo Cautro Caminos is a completely enclosed Finca, accessed by a gate on the north side of the house with parking for up to 3 cars, shaded by a large pine tree. The entrance is at the other side of the house on the broad upper terrace. The fantastic view from here is unforgettable. This terrace is equipped with a beautiful iron table and chairs. At the far end there is a stone gazebo which contains a barbeque and sink.
The pool lies just below down the brick staircase. The pool terrace comprises an absolutely perfect 7.5 metre long pool with sun loungers and a beautifully tiled external shower.
The entrance of the house leads into a spacious living room. On the right is an open plan kitchen built with much attention to detail. This is very well equipped with a 4 ring ceramic hob, electric oven and dishwasher. The living room has a comfortable seating area with satellite TV next to a glass fronted fireplace and a separate dining area next to the kitchen.
To the rear of the house there are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The owner is an experienced bricklayer and has put many hours into these rooms making them very cosy as well as imaginative. The green bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The two other rooms share the larger bathroom, which has a bath tub. The beds are 1.9m long and 1.40 and/or 0.90 metre wide. There is a cot available on request and free of charge.
All the windows of the house are secured with iron bars and have mosquito nets. The washing machine and a hand washing basin are located in a shed beside the pool.
The entire grounds as well as the house are exceptionally well maintained. The garden has a wide variety of plants from all over Europe and some very colourful subtropical plants. It is the perfect place for a stylish vacation in one of the most interesting and unspoilt areas of the Costa del Sol.
The nearest place (10 minutes drive) is Frigiliana. From there it is a further 10 minutes drive to Nerja, which offers sandy beaches, shops and supermarkets. The new motorway at Nerja connects to the rest of Andalucia. Granada and the skiing resort of the Sierra Nevada is about a one hour drive. Malaga Airport is 45 minutes away. Between Nerja and Almuñecar there is a natural park with various bays and the most beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol, 15 to 20 minutes by car from CORTIJO CUATRO CAMINIOS.
