On a hill in the quiet, rural surroundings of Motril lies this luxuriously equipped detached holiday villa with private swimming pool and impressive panoramic views over the sea and coastal plain of Motril.

 Villa La Ermita is a completely enclosed property accessed through a remote controlled gate and 150m long driveway which is lit up at night.

 There is a 150m² partially shaded terrace directly in front of the south-facing villa which looks onto a very attractive swimming pool (8 x 4m) surrounded by lush green lawns and plants.  Due to the sub tropical climate that Motril enjoys, the pool is available all year round.  There are sun loungers by the pool for sunbathing and the terrace has an adjustable awning (with optional motorised winding mechanism) for relaxing in the shade.

 The roof of the villa has another sun terrace with breathtaking panoramic views. Also, Slightly apart, there is another patio shaded by a large fig tree.  It is a very tranquil spot with outdoor seating and magnificent views.  The gardens are very well maintained and have a plethora of fruit and olive trees.

 Likewise, the house is well kept and furnished. It is divided into two parts; the main house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with open plan kitchen and a second large kitchen, fitted out like a restaurant kitchen with industrial oven, enormous fridge freezer, paella pan and more); then there is a separate guesthouse with private bathroom and kitchenette and a double bed  plus a sofa bed. Altogether the villa has 150m² of floor space and sleeps 10 people (plus a baby's cot).

 The living room in the main house comprises a sofa corner with TV and open fireplace, a large dining area and an open plan kitchen. The house is equipped with air conditioning which provides cool temperatures in the summer and heating in the winter.  There is also additional heating if required and all the rooms apart from the bathrooms have ceiling fans. 

 The whole estate has wireless internet accessed free of charge. There is a total of 3 televisions with DVD player, including one with 36 inch screen in the living room and there is even a TV in the summerhouse.  International programs are available on the large TV via ASTRA and HOTBIRD satellite.

 The route to the villa is fairly straightforward from Motril (about 10 minutes drive) by way of a small winding road past some greenhouses and fallow land. 

Motril (50,000 inhabitants) is the nearest place for shopping, banks, medical supplies, bars and restaurants. Between Motril and the hilltop town of  Salobreña are some of the best beaches in the province of Granada (Playa Granada and Playa de Salobreña). There is also a 18-hole golf course nearby called Los Moriscos. To the historical city of Granada (a UNESCO world heritage site) or the Sierra Nevada ski resorts is an hour's drive and Malaga airport is about 80 minutes.
