"CORTIJO DORADO"...

This detached holiday villa with private swimming pool and panoramic views over the sea and the coastal plain of Motril, stands on a hill in the countryside above the town.

Directly before the house there is a large south-facing terrace surrounded by a green border planted with tropical plants.

The 8x 4 metre sized swimming pool, which is for the exclusive use of the guests, is situated on the west side of the house. From the pool and the pool terrace one has an unrestricted view over Motril, the sea and the surrounding Sierras.

In front of the house there is a very beautiful, covered terrace surrounded by round arches and glazed in on the western side. This is a very comfortable place to sit, with room for up to 10 people and with easy access from the kitchen, so that you can take your meals here. At night one looks over the lights of Motril and in the morning you can see the fishermen returning from the sea.

The 150 m2 holiday house is divided into a living room with dining and seating area, a roomy and very well-equipped open-plan kitchen with dish washer separated by arches from the living area, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with bath tub and WC and the other with shower and WC.

The entire house is very tastefully furnished and well-equipped. Music can be heard in all the rooms at the push of a button. As further extras, a high chair and a baby bed are available for families with small children. Another plus is the brick-built barbecue outside the house.

One reaches the house from Motril in about 10 minutes, via a narrow, winding road that passes some greenhouses and uncultivated land. The setting of the "CORTIJO DORADO" is non- tourist, still predominantly agricultural.
There is parking space at the main entrance gate of this completely enclosed estate.

Medical attention and a full range of shops and banks are available in Motril (50,000 inhabitants).
Between Motril and Salobrena there are some of the best beaches in the province of Granada (Playa Granada and the Playas of Salobrena). The 9 hole golf course known as "Los Moriscos" lies close to the Salobrena beaches.

The city of Granada, with its UNESCO-adopted cultural heritage that includes the glorious Alhambra Palace, is an hour's drive away and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada only a little further on. Malaga airport is 80 minutes distant.
