CORTIJO ANITA
On a hill in the quiet, rural surroundings of Motril, stands the detached cottage Cortijo Anita, with a private swimming pool behind the house and impressive panoramic views of the sea and the coastal plains of this attractive coastal town.
Cortijo Anita is accessed from a 150m driveway and the cottage is south facing with an 86m² floor space. The outside covered terrace is particularly striking with elaborate brick arches surrounded by a plethora of tropical and subtropical plants. Just beyond is a 40m² open terrace with barbecue area. It is a lovely place to relax and guests spend a lot of time in this tranquil place.
The 7.5 x 4m walled swimming pool is built on a terrace and located on the west side of the house. Access to the pool is up a small staircase. From the poolside there is an amazing panoramic view over the town of Motril and the Mediterranean coast as far as Malaga Province. There is also an outdoor shower near the pool and sun loungers and deck chairs are located on the south facing terrace in front of the house.
Cortijo Anita is a well-furnished holiday home with a living room with dining area and sofa corner (with satellite TV), a separate kitchen (with all mod cons including a dishwasher), 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath tub and a separate toilet. The main bedroom has a comfortable 2 x 2m king size bed. The second bedroom has a 1,40 x 2,00 double bed and a 0,90 x 2,00 m single bed. So that the property sleeps 5 plus a baby in cot.
The living room is equipped with air conditioning for cool temperatures in the summer and heating in the winter. In addition, there are ceiling fans and central heating in all rooms.
The property is a 10 minute drive from Motril up a small winding road, past a few greenhouses and some fallow land. The area around CORTIJO ANITA is untouched by agriculture and relatively uncultivated. All shops, banks, medical supplies etc are available in Motril (50,000 inhabitants). Between Motril and the town Salobreña to the west, some of the best beaches in the province of Granada can be found (Playa Granada and the beaches of Salobreña). There is also a 18 hole golf course "Los Moriscos right next to the beach. The city of Granada, with its diverse Moorish and Christian culture (it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site) and the Sierra Nevada ski resorts are all about an hour’s drive away.
Malaga Airport is an 80 minute drive.
