2 BEDROOM VILLA WITH POOL
CAPILEIRA - ALPUJARRAS
"CORTIJO CASTAÑO"...
.... is a luxurious holiday home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and swimming pool in the heart of the Alpujarra Natural Park on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada. It is situated 5 minute's walk above Capileira, an attractive white-washed village with a good selection of bars, restaurants and craft shops. It is also the perfect location for setting out on some of the most interesting treks in the area.
Cortijo Castaño is a beautifully built house, in the traditional style and fashioned from natural stone from the region. Both exterior and interior are very well maintained and all materials and furnishings are of the highest quality.
The house has two bedrooms all of which have their own en-suite bathroom. The lounge has a cosy sitting area and open fireplace and there is also central heating throughout.
There is plenty of space for relaxing outdoors with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada and the coastal strips of the Costa Tropical. On clear days the view even extends to the Moroccan Rif mountains on the horizon.
The large 10 x 5 metre swimming pool is situated below the house and is surrounded by a terraced area with garden furniture and sun loungers. There is also a kitchen area by the pool with refrigerator, sink and barbecue as well as a covered area for eating al fresco. It is a lovely place for enjoying the long evenings and the star-filled Andalusian sky at night.
There is a separate entrance door near the pool area which leads to another apartment in the villa where the Spanish owner lives. She is a very discreet and hospitable person and takes care of the pool and the gardens. The pool may be used occasionally by the owner but only when the guests are away.
There is parking space for several cars next to the house. Granada and the coast are a 75 minute drive.

PRICE PER DAY IN WINTER IS 145 € per night
Central heating extra fee is 20 € per day descounted from the deposit.
The dates of the swimming pool season are flexible - please ask with your enquiry.
Small dogs can be permitted on request.
A 200 € deposit is required, refundable on the last day if no damage is incurred
Firewood available in winter for 10 € a wheelbarrow (for the open fire place - central heating is run by gas)
Change over day is Saturday (only in high season)
