Holiday home Cortijo Benitez lies on a tranquil hill crest in the heart of the Axarquia hills, east of Malaga. The nearest village, Canillas de Aceituno, is approximately 3 km distance and is a pleasant village with restaurants and a traditional wine growing industry.
The semi detached holiday home is situated on the south slope of the Sierra Tejeda (2,060 metres) at the border of the Sierra Tejeda natural park. The house itself makes an ideal base for trips into the mountains and down to the beaches, which are a half hours drive away.
Only the western part of the house is rented with
its own secluded pool and terrace. The owner Antonio lives in the eastern part of
the property. He is born in the valley in the sixties, knows the mountains and
the area like nobody else. If you are interested in contact to local people an
interesting person that is always respectful to the clients and leaves you in
peace.
Holiday home Cortijo Benitez consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a large lounge with open plan kitchen with access to a south facing terrace. To the side of the house is a secluded pool, available all year round, with a patio and garden furniture. It is the perfect place for relaxing and offers wonderful panoramic views
Cortijo Benitez is styled in the traditional architecture of the region, with wooden beams on the ceiling and andalusian tiles which add a rustic charm. At the same time the house has a very modern feel. The open plan kitchen consists of a modern 4 ring gas hob, oven and a large fridge-freezer. The air conditioning provides heat in winter and refreshes in the summer. Satellite TV offers international channels. The two bedrooms also have electric heaters which makes the house comfortable all year round.
From the terrace on clear days you can see the Mediterranean, the Sierra de Nieves near Ronda and the 3,600 metres high Sierra Nevada to the east .
The owner has two dogs (German Sheppard’s) it is
not recommendable to bring your dogs with you.
You can drive to the house and parking is available 30 metres from the house.
Malaga airport is less than 60 minutes drive by motorway.
