"CASA MARTA"
Villa CASA MARTA is a detached holiday villa with its own swimming pool situated on foot of the 2068 metre high Sierra Tejada mountain at the edge of national park land looking down on the beautiful Axarquia landscape. Holiday villa Casa Marta itself is 600 metres above sea level and offers wonderful views as far as the Mediterranean Sea, 26 kilometres away. Ten kilometres from the house there is an impressive man-made lake and the area surrounding the house is ideal for walking and the perfect place for those seeking peace and isolation. The lively Costa de Sol and the beaches of Torre del Mar are only 30 minutes drive away.
A special plus of the villa is the private paddle tennis court behind the property. The is sized 10 x 20 metres and there is even a basketball basket. Tennis rackets and balls are not provided.
The 3 bedroom villa is 150 metres squared and charmingly built in the typical architectural style of the region with an impressive gable roof covered with terracotta tiles which helps to keep the house cool in the summer months. On the outside of the house there is a large covered terrace (30m²) with stunning views over the AXARQUIA mountain region.
There is also a sizeable tiled swimming pool (4 x 8m) surrounded by a larger open terrace with a brick barbecue and external shower, perfect for sunbathing.
Inside, Villa Casa Marta has a lounge with cosy corner, dining area and open plan kitchen. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, newly furnished, one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and the other two bedrooms have a shared bathroom with a bath.
The nearest village is CANILLAS DE ACEITUNO, 3.5 km away, which has a small shop, a bodega with a restaurant and various bars. It is an attractive village with impressive panoramic views over the Vinuela man-made lake.
Parking for various cars right by the house. Access on a dirt road for the last 300 metres.
