SEDELLA - AXARQUIA
"CASA LOS PINOS"............ lies at the heart of the province of Malaga in a beautiful natural location between the villages of Sedella and Canillas de Aceituno, approximately 30 minutes drive from the beaches of the Costa del Sol, in a remote valley on the southern slope of the Sierra Tejeda which are the highest mountains in the province of Malaga.
The house is situated 600 metres above sea level and from the front terrace you can see the peaks of the 2000 metre high Sierra Tejeda. The best walking area in Malaga is right on the doorstep. The higher slpoes of this mountains offer beautiful, unspoilt panoramas from the Sierra Nevada relief in the East as far as the Mediterranean coast in South.
To reach the farmhouse there is a 150 metre long, well-maintained road, albeit unpaved in parts. The villa has a beautiful 3.5 x 6 metre swimming pool and a 30 m² covered terrace in front of the house. The area around the house is predominantly vineyards with a few isolated country houses dotted about. Tourists have been relatively rare in the valley and you can hardly hear the noise of cars. The house is completely enclosed. The owners family has another unfinished house slightly higher up that is not currently used as a living space.
Casa los Pinos has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people. The house is accessed from the terrace which leads into the lounge and then on to the open plan kitchen, separated by two stylish archways. The kitchen is well-equipped and the lounge has air conditioning for summer which also heats in winter. There is also an elegant fireplace in the lounge. To the rear of the house there are two bedrooms and a bathroom which has a closed off bathtub and shower. The first bedroom has 3 single beds and the second a double bed. In addition, there is a spare bed for a sixth person although the house is better suited for 5 as there is not much extra space and only one wardrobe located in the double bedroom.
There is parking for two cars in the grounds of the house. Shops, restaurants and bars are in the villages either side, 5 minutes away, or in Torre del Mar, 30 minutes away. Malaga, Antequera and Ronda are all within easy reach for a day out as well as hiking areas in the Sierras or a trip to the beach.
