......, just 5 minutes walk from the long stretch of beach in Almuñecar, is
a recently renovated, detached house with amazing panoramic views of the Mediterranean. House guests can watch the fishermen working whilst enjoying breakfast on the pool terrace. The beach promenade in Velilla is full of choice restaurants and ice cream parlours as well as boat rental facilities. On the beach there are "Chiringuitos", typical restaurants specializing in freshly caught fish.
The house itself is designed for maximum comfort. It has 2 storeys, the ground floor consisting of a living room with dining area and a cosy corner with glass fronted fireplace and TV (with international programmes). There is a side door which leads out to the large pool terrace (180m²). The ground floor also has a bathroom and kitchen equipped with dishwasher and all mod cons.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two of which have balconies with sea views. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and the other two bedrooms have single beds and a shared bathroom with bath.
Both storeys have an air conditioning system, which provides pleasant temperatures all summer and heats the house in the winter. Since this heating method can be relatively cost-intensive, consumption is not included in the price. However, the mild climate of the area is such that the system is hardly ever required.
The private swimming pool is available all year round . Beside the pool there is a beautifully tiled outdoor shower and sun loungers and plenty of garden furniture.
The mansion has its own garage, with a gate operated by remote control, near to the house entrance.
The historic centre of Almuñecar, with its small lanes and moorish castle, is a few minutes drive away. The nearby beaches and bays are separated by rocky hill formations and are calm, picturesque places to pass the day. The climate is mild all year round, ranging from 18° in the winter to 28° in the summer. Almuñecar is surrounded by fertile, green valleys where tropical fruits such as mangos, kiwis, custard apples, bananas and avocadoes grow in abundance.
There are also numerous leisure facilities in the area, including a golf course in Salobreña (approx. 15 by car) and a water park in Almuñecar. The beautiful city of Granada is less than an hours drive.
